The nurse said she spoke to the woman.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have a habit of joking and saying, \u2018Nobody dies on my shift\u2019. And I told her, \u2018Duda [Eduarda], nobody dies on my shift\u2019. Even though I wasn\u2019t on my shift there,\u201d she said, visibly emotional.<\/p>\n

The report from Domingo Espetacular also showed that, minutes earlier, a child performed a tandem jump. That one did not end in tragedy as the staff attached the rope.<\/p>\n

Higor Diniz, who was also at the bridge to watch a friend jump, said everyone panicked once they realised what had happened.<\/p>\n

Staff who failed to attach the rope before the woman\u2019s jump tried to escape but were found by police with the assistance of a military helicopter<\/a>. Six people were arrested. <\/p>\n

Three were later released without charge while another three are still being held and have been charged with homicide.<\/p>\n
