Knicks stars Jalen Brunson<\/a>, Karl-Anthony Towns<\/a>, Josh Hart<\/a> and OG Anunoby<\/a> were joined by the Wu-Tang Clan during a special appearance on Monday, June 15. This year’s champs \u2014 who defeated the San Antonio Spurs<\/a> in Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Saturday, June 13 \u2014 brought along their new hardware in the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy in front of an audience full of Knicks fans and the team’s president, Leon Rose.<\/p>\n Longtime Knicks diehard Spike Lee<\/a> joined host Jimmy Fallon<\/a> toward the end of his monologue to introduce the newly minted world champs before Brunson, Towns, Hart, and Anunoby joined the show to celebrate the win \u2014 and share insight into their pre-game rituals and the superstitions they believe won them the championship.<\/p>\n Brunson credited Justin Bieber with helping him get in the zone before a game, while Towns said that he believed his fianc\u00e9e, Jordyn Woods, brought championship luck to the team with her iconic orange handbag.<\/a><\/p>\n NBA Finals MVP Jalen Brunson carries the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy on ‘The Tonight Show’ Knicks superfans Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet and Ben Stiller<\/a> made the trip to Texas and celebrated the victory at Frost Bank Center. The Knicks’ championship also sparked a fury of chaos in New York City<\/a> on Saturday night, resulting in five buses being set on fire and four people being stabbed.<\/p>\n After the win, Brunson \u2014 whose father, Rick Brunson, is an assistant Knicks coach \u2014spoke about the emotions he felt after seeing his father once the championship was secured. \u201cI was good. [After] the final buzzer, I walked right to half court, shook [Spurs head coach] Mitch Johnson’s hand and then turned around. My dad was there,\u201d the NBA Finals MVP said during a post-game press conference<\/a>. \u201cAnd then [I] felt emotional from that point on.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI just remember Josh [Hart] talking into my ear and him just saying, like, \u2018We did it.
