Parents were issued a warning (Image: ITV)

Jess Wright issued a warning to parents during most recent episode of This Morning. The former TOWIE star took to Instagram last week to reveal that her four-year-old son, Presley, had been rushed to hospital by ambulance after he was “catapulted off a bouncy castle” at a birthday party. The reality television personality appeared on This Morning on Tuesday (June 16), where she spoke to presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard about the harrowing incident, while also giving viewers an update on Presley’s condition.

Cat opened by saying: “Luckily Presley is okay and recovering at home, but it’s a day that Jess will never forget,” with Jess responding: “He’s good, he’s absolutely fine. He’s slightly traumatised by it, but he’s fine. Yeah, they bounce back as you know. He’s really good, thank you.” Recounting the distressing events, Jess explained: “He was at a lovely kid’s party… It was just a real shame what happened, it couldn’t have been foreseen. Something extremely out of the blue, you wouldn’t expect it to ever happen,” reports OK!.

Jess Wright appeared on This Morning (Image: ITV)

She continued: “He gets on the bouncy castle and somehow got pinged off of it… He flew into the air and landed about three metres from the bouncy castle on the floor. It was horrendous.”

Jess described the “worst part” as hearing the impact of her son hitting the ground, saying: “We heard this noise and everyone in the hall just went [makes gasping sound]. It’s not a very big hall either, but you could hear the noise was just so severe. I looked over, I literally glanced, and it was him.”

The star revealed that Presley was in a distressed state that impacted his ability to breathe. The youngster had already been diagnosed with a heart condition called bicuspid aortic valve, placing his parents in an even greater state of anxiety.

“I screamed, ‘He’s not breathing, he’s not breathing! Breathe, breathe, breathe!’ And he just wasn’t. He started to go blue, and I reckon it was about 10 to 15 seconds, but it felt like forever,” she said.

The star’s son was rushed to hospital (Image: ITV)

“Of course, I thought the worst as you do. He started to go blue, his face started to go blue. I grabbed him off my husband again, and was just saying, ‘Breathe,’ and he came to – slowly came to… I was a wreck.”

Later, at the hospital, Presley began to regain awareness of his surroundings, bringing immense relief to his parents.

Jess then issued a warning to parents regarding the potential hazards of bouncy castles, stating: “This is why I’m here, most importantly, just to spread the awareness [and] make sure everyone knows, yes it is the summer season so there will be bouncy castles everywhere.

“Just be vigilant, like we are as it is. But I suppose, just be aware that it can get quite serious… Just be more aware, stand by more, even though we were, it’s one of those things.” She concluded: “I hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else, but it can happen.”

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10am

Parents were issued a warning (Image: ITV) Jess Wright issued a warning to parents during most recent episode…

[29
2896,241501,2894,241503,156,7386,241504,111,139,69,241502,2898,437
post-480073","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-tv","tag-ben-shephard","tag-bouncy-castle-accident","tag-cat-deeley","tag-child-safety-awareness","tag-entertainment","tag-itv","tag-jess-wright","tag-new-zealand","tag-newzealand","tag-nz","tag-parental-warning","tag-this-morning","tag-tv
["GET
!["Jess]("https://www.newsbeep.com/nz/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Jess-Wright-6984123.jpg" ""Jess")
