Subscribe now to listen.Subscribe now<\/p>\n<p>\u200c<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#\" class=\"flex cursor-pointer items-center gap-1.5 text-black\" data-test-ui=\"social-link--bookmark-above\" aria-label=\"bookmark\" id=\"social-link--bookmark-above\">Save<\/a>Share this articleCopy LinkEmailFacebookTwitter\/XLinkedInReddit<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Fabric and craft retailer Lincraft is closing its physical stores in New Zealand and Australia, with more than 300 staff affected \u2013 including 50 in New Zealand.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\n         The 88-year-old company, which has stores in Dunedin, Upper Hutt, Thames, Taup\u014d and the Christchurch suburbs of Riccarton and Linwood, will become an<br \/>\n         online retailer only.\n        <\/p>\n<p class=\"EoZyGajGNiPxVf\" style=\"display:none\">The closures will begin in the coming months, taking place progressively on a store-by-store basis depending on their lease arrangements.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EoZyGajGNiPxVf\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cLincraft has been part of Australian and New Zealand communities for generations.
