Fellow British TV host Piers Morgan took to social media to send his well-wishes to Clarkson.<\/p>\n
Sharing a photo of the two of them together, Morgan recalled receiving a text message from Clarkson on Boxing Day and said it made sense to him now.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was surprised when Jeremy Clarkson texted me on Boxing Day, a few days after this pic was taken, to say how much he liked my @paddypowerofficial ad urging men to get tested for prostate cancer. Now I understand,\u201d Morgan wrote. <\/p>\n
\u201cI wish my old sparring partner all the best with his treatment. Guys, have a PSA test, it may save your life,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Former British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said he was \u201cvery sorry\u201d to hear of Clarkson\u2019s cancer diagnosis and wished him \u201ca full and speedy recovery\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cProstate cancer affects far too many men and early diagnosis can make all the difference,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Prostate Cancer UK thanked Clarkson for sharing his prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment with the public and for \u201craising vital awareness with the millions of men and families watching\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cThankfully he found the disease at an early stage, but sadly this is still not the experience of many men across the UK.<\/p>\n
\u201cOver 10,000 dads, brothers, sons and friends are diagnosed too late for a cure every year, and today the responsibility to know if you\u2019re at higher risk and to act on it rest entirely on men\u2019s shoulders. This must change,\u201d the charity added.<\/p>\n
Clarkson posted a video on Instagram ahead of the episodes airing, saying they were \u201ca difficult watch\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019re really, really difficult,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Fans and friends sent their support to Clarkson in the comments.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou\u2019re so brave. I\u2019m so sorry,\u201d British businesswoman Carole Bamford commented.<\/p>\n

Irish actress Lisa Hogan, Clarkson\u2019s girlfriend of nearly a decade, has thanked people for their support.<\/p>\n
She posted a photo of Clarkson sitting in the garden with his camera, captioned \u201cback at the farm\u201d.<\/p>\n
Clarkson revealed on the show that there had been complications during his treatment, but he was leaning into his dark sense of humour to help him process the situation.<\/p>\n
