\u201cThat\u2019s the main thing, but you\u2019ve gotta keep checking, you know what I mean, it\u2019s all these things, you know, people can sit there and say I\u2019m busy, busy, busy. But actually, sometimes you\u2019ve gotta go, I\u2019m gonna just have to check and see if I\u2019m okay.\u201d<\/p>\n
Clarkson revealed news of his diagnosis during filming for the fifth series of Clarkson\u2019s Farm.<\/p>\n
During a discussion about harvesting with Cooper and Charlie Ireland, Clarkson says: \u201cI\u2019ve got cancer.\u201d<\/p>\n
A stunned Cooper replies: \u201cNo, you haven\u2019t. Where?\u201d<\/p>\n
Clarkson responds: \u201cWhere it is is of no concern of anybody. I\u2019ve known since May.<\/p>\n
\u201cI had a medical, you remember, back in May.<\/p>\n
\u201cI disappeared off the other week and I had a biopsy, and it is cancer and it\u2019s aggressive, but it\u2019s really early, so the treatment will be, you know …<\/p>\n
\u201cI was praying we could get the harvest done and then I could go and get some treatment, but it\u2019s going to be slap bang in the middle.\u201d<\/p>\n
Cooper tells his pal: \u201cLook after yourself, you go and do … if you need anything just ring.\u201d<\/p>\n
Later in the episode, there is footage of Clarkson \u2013 who previously had a heart scare, which was documented in series five\u2019s first episode \u2013 in a hospital bed.<\/p>\n
He says: \u201cSo we started season five with me in a hospital bed and we are at the end of season five and I\u2019m back in a hospital bed.<\/p>\n
\u201cSome of the treatment has gone awry, let\u2019s say, I\u2019m going to be here for a little while.
