It sounds like Reese Witherspoon got the casting right for her \u201cLegally Blonde\u201d prequel series<\/a> \u201cElle,\u201d as rising star Lexi Minetree is clearly an expert when it comes to the classic 2001 film.<\/p>\n

The actress stopped by \u201cThe Tonight Show\u201d on Wednesday night for her late night debut, where she proudly showed off her Jennifer Coolidge impression<\/a> with two iconic quotes. Plus, Minetree says she\u2019s seen the movie 150 times already.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s actually spooky, because even when I was a brunette, random people would come up to me and say, \u2018You know who you look like? You look like Reese Witherspoon,\u201d she shared. \u201cMy whole life, I\u2019ve gotten that I look like her. What was crazy was three months before, I had decided to go blonde \u2014 not because of the role, just for a switch-up. I\u2019m really glad I listened to that instinct.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe beautiful dress you\u2019re wearing right now was the same dress that Reese Witherspoon wore at the \u2018Legally Blonde\u2019 premiere 25 years ago,\u201d host Jimmy Fallon further noted.<\/p>\n

Hello Sunshine produces alongside Amazon MGM Studios, with creator Laura Kittrell (\u201cHigh School,\u201d \u201cInsecure\u201d) serving as co-showrunner with Caroline Dries. Additional EPs include Lauren Neustadter, Lauren Kisilevsky and Marc Platt.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn Season 1, \u2018Elle\u2019\u00a0follows Elle Woods in high school as we learn about the life experiences that shaped her into the iconic young woman we came to know and love in the first \u2018Legally Blonde\u2019 film,\u201d the streamer previously teased<\/a>.<\/p>\n
