The official website for the anime adaptation<\/a> of ANGYAMAN<\/a>‘s Red Cat Ramen<\/a> (Ramen Akaneko<\/a>) manga revealed on Saturday the second season<\/a> will debut in January 2027. The website also revealed the new season’s staff, one new cast member, a teaser visual, and a teaser video. <\/p>\n

The new cast member is Tasuku Hatanaka<\/a> as Jewel.<\/p>\n

Returning cast members include:\n<\/p>\n

Hisatoshi Shimizu<\/a> (The Gymnastics Samurai<\/a>, episode director for Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood<\/a>) is returning to direct the anime at E&H production<\/a>, and E&H production and Good Smile Company<\/a> are producing the anime. Shigeru Murakoshi<\/a> is replacing T\u014dru Kubo<\/a> to oversee and write the series scripts. Michinori Chiba<\/a> (Mobile Suit Gundam 00<\/a>, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans<\/a>) is returning to design the characters and serve as chief animation director. Hirotaka Matsuoka<\/a> is returning to compose the music.<\/p>\n

The first season premiered<\/a> in July 2024 on TBS<\/a> and 28 other channels and had 12 episodes. Crunchyroll<\/a> streamed the series as it aired.<\/p>\n

ANGYAMAN first posted the manga on Shueisha<\/a>‘s Jump Rookie! site in November 2021, and Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+<\/a> service then picked up the manga for serialization in March 2022. It began its regular weekly serialization that October.
