Brad Pitt has his next war movie lined up. The A-lister is re-teaming with Suicide Squad and The Beekeeper’s David Ayer for a man-and-his-dog type survival story, Heart of the Beast, in which Pitt’s character must survive through the wilderness with his retired combat dog. The new movie recently dropped its first trailer, and is set to release in theaters on Sep. 25. But, before Brad Pitt’s newest war\/action movie is released, one of the actor’s best and most underappreciated war films is being dishonorably discharged from free streaming.<\/p>\n

Brad Pitt stars in one of the best World War II movies ever made, that being Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds. But five years after Tarantino’s movie, Pitt returned to the front lines of Nazi-occupied Europe for David Ayer’s first big foray into the war genre.<\/a> Starring alongside The Punisher’s Jon Bernthal, as well as Logan Lerman, Michael Pe\u00f1a, and Shia LaBeouf, Fury is easily one of Pitt’s most underrated movies. It received decent reviews upon its release in 2014, opening to a 75% Rotten Tomatoes score. However, in the 12 years since, it has seemingly been forgotten by Brad Pitt fans, while the likes of Inglourious and Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood have become two of his biggest and most lauded films.<\/p>\n

Fury usually finds a brief bump in viewership<\/a> every time it is added to a new streaming platform. When it landed on Pluto TV, the ad-supported free streaming service, at the start of June, that trend continued. However, the Fury tank is about to be decommissioned on the platform, as it gets ready to roll off for a new streamer. After being added to Pluto TV’s free streaming library on Jun. 1, Fury has been added to the platform’s Leaving Soon page. Although the site doesn’t give precise dates for films’ removals, expect Fury to be discharged from Pluto TV on Jul. 1.<\/p>\n

‘Fury’ Is One of the Most Explosive WWII Action Movies<\/p>\n

Fury manages to toe the line between being a character study of the Fury tank’s crew, while also delivering on all the action spectacle that the trailers promised. Pitt stars as Don “Wardaddy” Collier, the sergeant in command of the Sherman tank “Fury.” Along with his crew, Wardaddy commands the tank into German-occupied France to push back the Nazis, leading them through desolate villages, eerie farmland, and a deadly threat.<\/p>\n

It might not be the most historically accurate war movie ever made, but Fury still gives viewers a decent idea of what it would be like to be trapped inside a Sherman tank during the Second World War.<\/a> The crew underwent rigorous training before filming began to be able to pilot the many real Shermans used for the film’s production.<\/p>\n
