\u201cNow that\u2019s a clarion call from the voter that you\u2019ve got to understand.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bridge pressed Peters on whether that stability included still ruling out Labour<\/a> as a potential coalition partner, who showed exasperation after highlighting he\u2019d announced it to the Herald\u2018s Audrey Young in 2022<\/a> and has maintained the position since.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat\u2019s wrong with you people? Do I need to come and put a brand on your head? We\u2019re not going with Labour,\u201d Peters said.<\/p>\n

\u201cRyan, be fair. I haven\u2019t been around this long to come on this programme to talk about that sort of w***er question.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bridge continued before circling back on the comment at the interview\u2019s end, thanking Peters for his appearance and telling the audience: \u201cThose were your w***y questions and those were his answers.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the Broadcasting Standards Authority (BSA)<\/a>, w***er is considered a low-level offensive word<\/a> in broadcasting scenarios, and is unlikely to breach industry standards.<\/p>\n

Several BSA decisions in recent years have fallen short of proving it violates Offensive and Disturbing Content standards, although its acceptability remains subjective and open to interpretation.<\/p>\n
