Olivia Rodrigo<\/a> has already graced us with a new album this year \u2013 now she\u2019s following up with a new music festival. Taking to Instagram with the news, Rodrigo unveiled Daisy Chain Fields, a music festival with an all-female line-up. And what a line-up it is!<\/p>\n

Leading the billing is everyone\u2019s favourite feminist punk band of the \u201990s, Bikini Kill. However, Rodrigo fans are more likely to recognise her popstar contemporaries, including Chappell Roan<\/a>, Doechii<\/a>, Katseye<\/a> and Mitski. <\/p>\n

The impressive names doesn\u2019t end there, with Rodrigo mentioning \u2018Special Guests\u2019 Stevie Nicks<\/a> (huge!), Sarah McLachlan and Karen O (of Yeah Yeah Yeahs fame). <\/p>\n

Upon announcing the festival, Olivia wrote: \u201c[I\u2019ve] truly never felt more excited to share a piece of news with you all. I\u2019ve had a dream of doing this festival for years and I am so ecstatic it\u2019s finally coming true!!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDaisy Chain Fields features an all-women lineup and 100 percent of the net proceeds will go to charities dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls,\u201d she continued. \u201cThe lineup is truly insane and full of my heroes and friends. I firmly believe that joy, community, and music can be the drivers of meaningful change and I\u2019m hopeful this festival will be just that. I absolutely cannot wait to scream and dance and sing with you guys August 29th!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n

The only question remaining is \u2013 how on earth do we get tickets?!<\/p>\n

How to get tickets to Olivia Rodrigo\u2019s music festival?<\/p>\n

Sign up for pre-sale: Go to daisychainfields.com<\/a> and follow the links to sign up. <\/p>\n

Enter your email: Enter your email and select your location in the fields provided. Then select the mailing list you\u2019d like to join to receive the pre-sale alert in your inbox. (I selected both \u2013 just to be safe!) There is also an option field to enter your phone number if you\u2019d prefer an SMS alert.<\/p>\n

Click submit: Don\u2019t skip this step! After you click submit, you should see text saying, \u201cThank You For Signing Up!\u201d<\/p>\n

The Daisy Chain Fields pre-sale begins at 10am PT on June 24 in the US. However, note that in Australia, the pre-sale date for Olivia Rodrigo\u2019s festival tickets is Thursday, June 25! It\u2019s also happening early in the morning for us. (We\u2019ve offered a breakdown of Australian times, below<\/a>). <\/p>\n

The sign-up form states that tickets will be sold on a \u201cfirst come, first served\u201d basis, and that they expect demand to outweigh supply. So if you\u2019re hoping to get tickets after the pre-sale, you may be taking a gamble! <\/p>\n

Where is Olivia Rodrigo\u2019s music festival?<\/p>\n

The festival will be held at Great Park in Irvine, California. The park is located about an hour south of Los Angeles, closer to Anaheim and Newport Beach.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for us Australian fans, the festival will be held in the United States \u2013 and is tragically very unlikely to tour. However, if you\u2019re planning a holiday, the end of August sounds like a nice time to visit LA, right?<\/p>\n

How much are tickets?<\/p>\n

Tickets start from US $250 for General Admission, and climb to US $1250 for \u2018Pit Viewing\u2019. In Australian dollars, this converts to (approximately):<\/p>\n

General Admission: $358 AUD ($250 USD)<\/p>\n

General Admission+: $501 AUD ($350 USD)<\/p>\n

VIP: $716 AUD ($500 USD)<\/p>\n

Pit Viewing: $1,790 AUD ($1,250 USD)<\/p>\n

Olivia Rodrigo has confirmed that all of the net proceeds (profits after any payments and taxes etc.) will go to charities \u201cdedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls\u201d. <\/p>\n

Baby2Baby: Supporting children with basic needs and necessities, including nappies, clothing and baby formula<\/p>\n

Jhpiego: Associated with John Hopkins University, Jhpiego is focused on healthcare in the fields of gynaecology and obstetrics.<\/p>\n
