She said: \u201cIt can be quite vitriolic at times. I don\u2019t want this to come across as \u2018Woe is me\u2019, because I\u2019m very grateful for the job, but to field insults when you\u2019re just walking down the street \u2026<\/p>\n
\u201cThey want a picture with you, then afterwards, they\u2019ll say, \u2018I f****** hate your character, by the way,\u2019 or, \u2018Your character\u2019s a ****.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u201cI sort of laugh and say, \u2018Well, you can delete that picture.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t know what you can do. I just try and take it in my stride.\u201d<\/p>\n
When Olivia and co-star Emma D\u2019Arcy were first promoting House of the Dragon, they went viral thanks to a clip of them discussing their favourite drinks, with the Ready Player One actress declaring her pal \u2013 who plays Rhaenyra Targaryen \u2013 to have made a \u201cstunnin\u2019\u201d choice with the negroni sbagliato.<\/p>\n
Olivia said: \u201cI just think it was interesting that in our attention-deficit economy, that after a very wide-ranging career, that was the thing I was most notable for. But like everything, it lasted for about 15 minutes.\u201d<\/p>\n
Asked if she stopped saying \u201cstunnin\u2019\u201d as a result of the scrutiny, she said: \u201cOh! Maybe. Just initially. Out of annoyance.<\/p>\n
\u201cI can get a bit of an attitude when it comes to these things, but it was all good-natured.
