Manson said naming rights had also been sold to the Urology Institute, another expanding private medical business, which has many locations in Auckland.<\/p>\n
Allevia Health was formerly called Mercy Epsom and Mercy Ascot.<\/p>\n
It is a major hospital, specialist and health services business which has vastly expanded premises on Mountain Rd, Epsom.<\/p>\n
Andrew Williams, chairman of Onesixone Medical Group, which is half-owned by Allevia, said the move would transform the business.<\/p>\n
Onesixone Medical is now at 161 Gillies Ave. Allevia will take most of the building, he said.<\/p>\n

Williams is also part of the medical business, the Urology Institute.<\/p>\n

At Allevia Hospital Epsom, $190 million-plus<\/a> was spent by Tindall and other Allevia owners, who include fertility specialist Richard Fisher.<\/p>\n The $190m was spent on:<\/p>\n A new Gilgit Wing at Allevia Hospital Epsom on what was the driveway and main entrance to what was the old Mercy Hospital by RCP and Leighs: $150m;Development of a new off-site sterile processing facility in leased premises at 79 St George\u2018s Bay Rd, Parnell, along with changes to the existing red brick seven-level Prendergast building and carpark expansion: $30m; Building the neighbouring 887sq m Heart Group building on Gilgit Rd by RCP and Brosnan: $10m. Allevia Hospital Epsom\u2019s new Gilgit Wing has:<\/p>\n 10 full-sized 60sq m, state-of-the-art operating theatres;Each theatres has $1.5m+ of equipment including robots;A 17-bed post-anaesthetic care unit;Six intensive care unit beds;Six high-dependency unit beds;A new ward with 20 single and four double-patient hospital rooms;A dedicated wh\u0101nau room;A new sterile store;A new staff break room on the top floor with outdoor area;Two new theatre changing rooms;Two acoustically sound bedrooms for on-call anaesthetists;Three lifts able to take beds, one goods lift;Perkins diesel generator the size of a small bus for mains power failures.<\/p>\n Manson said the new Remuera Rd development is next to Watercare House, \u201canother one of ours\u201d.<\/p>\n He was referring to the green star-rated big office building developed by the same business at 73 Remuera Rd.<\/p>\n 75 Remuera Rd is due for completion around the middle of next year and Manson said it had been popular due to its location, quality and services.<\/p>\n Only one floor remains available to lease. <\/p>\n It has basement parking and six levels of commercial space. <\/p>\n End-of-trip facilities, retail space, storage and the commercial floors are around 1140sq m. <\/p>\n The upper levels have big views and stud heights were designed to be suitable so the building could operate as surgical or consulting premises.<\/p>\nThe 41% owner of Allevia Health is Sir Stephen Tindall.<\/p>\n
