Los Angeles Times,<\/a> the unnamed woman claims she worked as Jenner\u2019s private chef from November 2024, regularly completing 11- to 12-hour shifts, five days a week.<\/p>\nThe lawsuit alleges she informed her supervisors the following month that she was three months pregnant and \u201crequired reasonable accommodations to protect her health and pregnancy\u201d.<\/p>\n
The complaint alleges that on New Year\u2019s Eve 2024 she was instructed to \u201clift and transport heavy food items across the street and uphill without assistance\u201d. The chef claims the work caused her to become dizzy, choke and gasp for air before security staff intervened to help.<\/p>\n
The lawsuit further alleges she was required to work at one of Jenner\u2019s child\u2019s birthday celebrations in Palm Springs in early February 2025 without adequate support. \u201cDue to exhaustion and overwhelming physical strain, [she] broke down emotionally in the bathroom during the event,\u201d the court filing states.<\/p>\n
According to the complaint, the following morning she suffered severe blood loss and was informed at the hospital that \u201cthere was no detectable heartbeat and that she had lost her unborn child\u201d.<\/p>\n
The chef is seeking unspecified damages, alleging pregnancy discrimination, harassment, failure to provide reasonable accommodations, unpaid wages, misclassification as an independent contractor and wrongful termination.<\/p>\n
She also claims a supervisor told her, \u201cStop it, just stop it. You are upsetting Kylie. You are making her depressed.\u201d<\/p>\n
