The Ferris Bueller’s Day Off<\/a> actress was 15 when she appeared in the 1985 Ridley Scott<\/a> film with Tom Cruise<\/a>. She mentioned bumping into the director recently, and reflected on her costar’s commitment to their roles in the film.<\/p>\n “I bumped into Ridley not that long ago and it was really good to see him, and he said something that really just made me happy. He said, ‘You were so good with Tom.’ And I said, ‘Yeah, I was really good,'” Sara said during an interview on The Slice of Life Show by Pete Ferriero<\/a>.<\/p>\n “You know what? He was a very nice guy, but he’s a weird guy,” she continued, referring to Cruise.<\/p>\n Tom Cruise and Sara in ‘Legend’ Ferriero then asked if Cruise stayed in his character, a forest child named Jack of the Green, for the duration of filming the dark fantasy movie. “He wanted to. Yeah. I mean, he tried to,” Sara confirmed.<\/p>\n “He was very sweet to me and we got along very well, but it was, like, a lot,” she added, claiming he was “very insecure” when it came to “his acting,” and that he didn’t get along with the Scott, reportedly disagreeing over the run time and narrative of the movie.<\/p>\n After working on Legend, Cruise told Rolling Stone<\/a> in 1986, \u201cI\u2019ll never want to do another picture like that again.\u201d<\/p>\n Entertainment Weekly contacted reps for Tom Cruise and did not receive an immediate response.<\/p>\n In Legend, a world made up of unicorns, magic, and rainbows, Darkness (portrayed by Tim Curry<\/a>) attempts to create eternal night by killing the remaining unicorns. Jack (Cruise) and his friends fight to save the world and protect Princess Lili (Sara) from Darkness.<\/p>\n When Legend came out in theaters more than 40 years ago, it received less-than-favorable reviews.
