Natalie Nolly shared her daughter\u2019s \u201cslow but steady\u201d progress to the donation page, with a positive outlook on her recovery.<\/p>\n
\u201cPhoebe\u2019s progress is slow but steady. She has a long road to recovery ahead of her but she is out of ICU and there are plans to transfer her to ABI rehabilitation, which is for rehabilitation from brain injuries. <\/p>\n
\u201cShe is very determined and is trying to stand, and she moves around a lot even with her many fractures still healing. Phoebe has also said a few words and recognises some familiar people. She even read some words out loud that she saw on some hospital equipment.\u201d<\/p>\n

More than $36,000 had been donated towards Nolly\u2019s recovery.<\/p>\n

It will take a while but Phoebe is very determined and very strong, and with all of us behind her she has definitely got this. She is a survivor. Lil Bandit Line Dancers New Plymouth club, which Nolly had been dancing with for the past few years, told the Herald her family had its members\u2019 full support.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re banding together \u2013 the love is there. We all hope she recovers quickly.<\/p>\n
\u201cNats [Phoebe\u2019s mother] is an amazing, kind woman who would do anything for anyone.\u201d<\/p>\n
Taranaki Detective Sergeant Chris Allemann said police had appealed for information from anyone who saw a black 2005 Mazda Tribute station wagon or a white 2002 Holden Barina travelling in or around Stratford, or along State Highway 43, around the time of the crash.<\/p>\n
