The neighbour said occasionally, burst tyres were left behind. <\/p>\n
\u201cThey just see it as harmless fun; \u2018we are not hurting anyone\u2019, but it\u2019s just the noise and the mess.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe roads will be freshly marked, and then they are all black and gone.\u201d<\/p>\n
In May 2024, Hawke\u2019s Bay Today reported a resident, Ernie Christison, had seen a \u201cyoung woman standing in the middle of the intersection while blokes did burnouts in circles around her\u201d.<\/p>\n
Williamson said police asked anyone who witnessed anti-social road user behaviour to call 111 immediately, and not confront anyone.<\/p>\n
