And there are moments I\u2019ll never forget.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"NQVPqQgxO\" style=\"display:none\">The actor also admitted there are still parts of the diagnosis he struggles to fully accept.<\/p>\n<p class=\"NQVPqQgxO\" style=\"display:none\">Glover said: \u201cI\u2019m still not accepting in my mind all parts of it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"NQVPqQgxO\" style=\"display:none\">Glover\u2019s daughter, Mandisa, appeared in a pre-recorded segment during The Today Show and explained why the family felt now was the right time for him to share his story publicly.<\/p>\n<p class=\"NQVPqQgxO\" style=\"display:none\">She said: \u201cAnd the time is now. What better time but now for him to speak for himself?\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"NQVPqQgxO\" style=\"display:none\">She added that openness was important to both of them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"NQVPqQgxO\" style=\"display:none\">Mandisa said: \u201cIt\u2019s important because people ask questions sometimes, and I don\u2019t want to be a dishonest person and say, \u2018Oh, yeah, everything is all right. It\u2019s all great.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"NQVPqQgxO\" style=\"display:none\">Glover also revealed that one of the most significant moments after his diagnosis came when he realised he was far from alone.<\/p>\n<p class=\"NQVPqQgxO\" style=\"display:none\">Reflecting on learning he had Alzheimer\u2019s, he said he had to acknowledge \u201cthat it\u2019s happening to you and at the same time that there are millions of people suffering from it\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"NQVPqQgxO\" style=\"display:none\">Throughout a career spanning more than four decades, Glover has become one of Hollywood\u2019s most respected actors.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Danny Glover has revealed that he has been diagnosed with Alzheimer&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can live with it, in a sense.
