\u201cWe\u2019re delighted to reunite New Zealanders with Pods and finally restore balance to snack bowls across the country.\u201d<\/p>\n

While imported Pods have been available at some stockists, the original range has largely been absent from New Zealand for almost five years.<\/p>\n

The popular snack was discontinued in 2021<\/a>, breaking the hearts of many Kiwi fans.<\/p>\n

At the time, Mars New Zealand general manager Peter Simmons said it had to \u201cmake the difficult decision\u201d because of changes in its manufacturing capability<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t make these decisions lightly, and when we do, we always try to balance the expectations of our customers with the needs of our business. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe recognise some will be disappointed by this change, and we hope it\u2019s not long before they find a new favourite treat from the Mars lineup.\u201d<\/p>\n

More than 7600 people signed a petition<\/a> for Pods to be brought back after they were scrapped.<\/p>\n
