According to ESPN, the 45-year-old is set to sign a deal with Arrow McLaren. Indianapolis 500 champion Felix Rosenqvist, who drives for Meyer Shank Racing, is also tipped to join the team, with the pair to join Pato O\u2019Ward at Arrow McLaren for the 2027 season.<\/p>\n
Dixon currently sits 10th on the Indycar standings heading into this week\u2019s event at Mid-Ohio, where he has a record seven wins.<\/p>\n

The Kiwi first joined Chip Ganassi Racing in 2002 in the Championship Auto Racing Teams (CART) series before switching to Indycar the following year. Dixon claimed his maiden victory in the opening race of the season and went on to take out the Indycar title with another two victories.<\/p>\n
Dixon\u2019s best season was in 2008 when he won six races including his only Indianapolis 500 title to take out the Indycar title for a second time.<\/p>\n
