\u201cFrom around 3.30am until about 9pm, when he disposed of the body, he appeared to go about his daily routine as usual. We watched every single clip,\u201d Police Colonel Anek Srathongyu said.<\/p>\n
Carman has told police that he strangled the teenager in an act of \u201cself-defence\u201d<\/a>. Authorities have now revealed that Donhomla weighed just 40kgs and was 1.5m tall, whereas Carman weighed 100kgs and was 1.8m tall.<\/p>\n While the man claimed the teen put a knife to his throat during a payment dispute, autopsy results show she suffered facial injuries consistent with a violent assault.<\/p>\n \u2018A hard prisoner\u2019<\/p>\n Carman has reportedly been moved to the hospital wing of the prison he is currently being held in, in Thailand.<\/p>\n The move is believed to have been made for safety reasons.<\/p>\n \u201cHe is in a ward with around five other men,\u201d a prison staff member reportedly told the Daily Mail.<\/p>\n \u201cHe is not sick, but we keep him there because he is a hard prisoner. This is our policy when you are a hard prisoner.\u201d<\/p>\n Carman would regularly take girls to his messy apartment<\/p>\n Carman lived in the Jomtien Condominium apartment blocks in Pattaya, reportedly paying $120 per week in rent. He is said to have regularly taken girls back to his home.<\/p>\n Photos obtained by ABC earlier this week show the man lived in squalid conditions, with piles of clothes scattered everywhere, loose documents and empty spirits bottles lying around.<\/p>\n It is alleged that he would often ask the women he took home to clean up for him.<\/p>\n Police released messages sent by the teen to her friends once she got to his apartment that night.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve arrived at [his] apartment. The room is so messy,\u201d one message read.<\/p>\n Police believe she messaged her friends so they knew she had arrived and would not worry.<\/p>\n The pair was seen arriving at the apartment complex at 3.30am on Thursday, June 26.<\/p>\n According to police, the teenager died 30 minutes later, at 4am.<\/p>\n A friend reported the teenager missing and security images show she visited the man\u2019s apartment the next day, looking for her friend.<\/p>\n Carman was allegedly spotted on CCTV at 9pm, leaving the building with a big suitcase he then travelled with by motorbike.<\/p>\n He was arrested at Bangkok\u2019s main international airport<\/a> last Friday, while he was waiting to board a flight to Perth. <\/p>\n Tunchanok Donhomla\u2019s parents have called for the man accused of murdering their daughter to be executed<\/a>.<\/p>\n Sign up to Herald Premium Editor\u2019s Picks<\/a>, delivered straight to your inbox every Friday.
