In spite of that, though, Lindblad taking actions into his own hands like that <\/a>should serve as a huge warning.<\/p>\n

While Formula One is in every aspect a team sport, individual results and pressures do inevitably lead to pressures between drivers.<\/p>\n

Speaking before this weekend\u2019s British Grand Prix at Silverstone, though, Lawson insisted the matter had been resolved between himself and Lindblad.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt honestly wasn\u2019t really much to do with me, and it\u2019s something that was resolved in the race,\u201d he told print media. <\/p>\n

\u201cI got my position back, so honestly, by the time we finished the race, I was completely fine.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s something that is obviously part of Formula One, being in a big organisation and a team, so I just tried to do my part in the race, and it was more of their discussion than mine.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not going to change my approach. Maybe I\u2019ll be more aware in a situation like that.It can be quite rare that you\u2019re in a specific situation like that. <\/p>\n

\u201cSo it\u2019s very unlikely, but maybe I will be more aware of that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lindblad shared the same view. As the only rookie on the grid, the 18-year-old will take part in his home race for the first time this weekend, and will have to deal with the pressures that come alongside that.<\/p>\n

But, if Racing Bulls are to continue the success they\u2019ve had all season<\/a>, having both drivers on the same page is priority No 1 for team bosses over the coming races.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was something we discussed together after the race,\u201d said Lindblad. \u201c[It\u2019s] all sorted now.<\/p>\n

\u201c[I\u2019m] looking forward to the race this week.\u201d<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s British Grand Prix is also a sprint weekend, seeing a shorter 17-lap race take place on Saturday night (NZT), before the full 52-lap affair on Monday morning.<\/p>\n
