Their prize included a $250,000 bonus win in Lotto First Division from the same draw.

Strike Four also has a large prize on offer, after it rolled over on Wednesday’s Lotto draw. A total of $700,000 is the Strike Four golden prize tonight.

Although unlucky for some, Wednesday’s draw resulted in a windfall for the small Waikato town of Huntly, where four tickets worth $250,000 in Lotto First Division were sold at a local book shop.

The four lucky tickets were sold at The Bookshop and Lotto in Huntly. It is not known whether the four tickets were sold to one person or if the tickets went to four different people.

Lotto NZ is currently promoting its Mid-Year Millionaire promotion, when three extra prizes of $1m can be won. All Triple Dip tickets bought between Sunday, June 21, and 7.30pm today will be in the draw with a chance to win.

Lotto Powerball wins in 2026

January 14 – $10.2m, MyLotto, Manawatū-WhanganuiJanuary 21 – $5.3m, MyLotto, OtagoFebruary 14 – $5.08m, Coastlands Lotto, ParaparaumuFebruary 14 – $5.08m, New World Greymouth, GreymouthFebruary 14 – $5.08m, MyLotto, MastertonFebruary 18 – $4.5m, Glen Innes Dairy and Lotto Outlet, AucklandMarch 28 – $12.75m, MyLotto, AucklandMarch 28 – $12.75m, MyLotto, AucklandApril 15 – $14.3m, MyLotto, New PlymouthApril 22 – $5.5m, AucklandJune 3 – $28.2m, Ashburton

Top 5 Lotto individual wins of all time:

$44.06m – Auckland, 2016$42.02m – Waikato, 2021$37.12m – Wellington, 2023$33.05m – Christchurch, 2023$33.01m – Auckland, 2013

Sign up to The Daily H, a free newsletter curated by our editors and delivered straight to your inbox every weekday.

[2
18479,806,6928,22218,1888,38040,10506,1132,111,43,139,69,1523,10702,20878,13807,25261,25259,4739,6027,6202
post-509257","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-new-zealand","tag-20m","tag-as","tag-celebrating","tag-division","tag-first","tag-jackpot","tag-lotto","tag-million","tag-new-zealand","tag-news","tag-newzealand","tag-nz","tag-over","tag-players","tag-powerball","tag-prizes","tag-rolled","tag-rolls","tag-six","tag-win","tag-wins
["GET
