Sonic and his friends realize that to defeat Metal Sonic they must rely on the friendship they built through their adventures.<\/p>\n<p>Sonic art and animation team members <a href=\"https:\/\/www.animenewsnetwork.com\/encyclopedia\/people.php?id=186540\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Takashi Iizuka<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.animenewsnetwork.com\/encyclopedia\/people.php?id=272392\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Austin Keys<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.animenewsnetwork.com\/encyclopedia\/people.php?id=72594\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jasmin Hernandez<\/a> were present at the Anime Expo panel celebrating 35 years of Sonic the Hedgehog.<\/p>\n<p>The live-action <a href=\"https:\/\/www.animenewsnetwork.com\/encyclopedia\/anime.php?id=34213\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sonic the Hedgehog 4<\/a> film is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.animenewsnetwork.com\/daily-briefs\/2025-01-21\/live-action-sonic-the-hedgehog-4-film-slated-for-march-19-2027\/.220307\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">scheduled<\/a> for a March 19, 2027 release.
