While it marks the first full Moon of summer in the Northern Hemisphere, there are still some pretty cool things worth watching for us down here in the Southern.<\/p>\n<p class=\"break-words  verse-paragraph-md font-regular mb-4 min-h-2\">So if you\u2019re in the mood for a bit of moongazing, this one\u2019s worth keeping an eye out for.<\/p>\n<p class=\"break-words  verse-paragraph-md font-regular mb-4 min-h-2\">Here\u2019s what to know and what it could mean for you in the world of astrology.<\/p>\n<p>When to see June\u2019s Strawberry Full Moon in NZ<\/p>\n<p class=\"break-words  verse-paragraph-md font-regular mb-4 min-h-2\">Your best viewing window is tonight, Tuesday June 30, 2026, from moonrise (around 4:45pm).<\/p>\n<p class=\"break-words  verse-paragraph-md font-regular mb-4 min-h-2\">The Strawberry Moon will be visible all night, reaching its highest and brightest point near midnight.<\/p>\n<p>What makes it such a big deal?<\/p>\n<p class=\"break-words  verse-paragraph-md font-regular mb-4 min-h-2\">According to <a class=\"decoration-from-font text-paragraph-sm\/normal md:text-paragraph-md\/normal linear cursor-pointer transition-all disabled:cursor-not-allowed disabled:opacity-40 group inline-block underline underline-offset-4 focus-visible:rounded-md focus-visible:outline-offset-4 font-bold hover:text-brand-300 focus-visible:text-brand-300 visited:text-brand-300 disabled:text-neutral-300\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/jamiecartereurope\/2026\/06\/26\/full-moon-june-2026-when-to-see-the-strawberry-moon-rise\/\">Forbes Science<\/a>, this Strawberry Full Moon is also a micro full moon &#8211; basically the opposite of a supermoon &#8211; when the Moon is at or near its furthest point from Earth in its orbit.<\/p>\n<p class=\"break-words  verse-paragraph-md font-regular mb-4 min-h-2\">While it may appear slightly smaller, it will still shine brightly in the night sky.
