{"id":511826,"date":"2026-07-06T04:22:07","date_gmt":"2026-07-06T04:22:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/511826\/"},"modified":"2026-07-06T04:22:07","modified_gmt":"2026-07-06T04:22:07","slug":"south-korean-rapper-penomeco-featured-on-football-legend-ronaldinhos-new-album","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/511826\/","title":{"rendered":"South Korean rapper Penomeco featured on football legend Ronaldinho\u2019s new album"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">SEOUL &#8211; South Korean rapper Penomeco is one of the artistes featured on a project album from Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho that was released online on July 4, according to Penomeco\u2019s agency Ego Group.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">The album celebrates both the 2026 World Cup and the launch of Ronaldinho\u2019s music label, Tu Musica, in spring.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">The release boasts a long list of global musicians &#8211; 44 artistes from 18 regions &#8211; including Jamaican hitmaker Sean Paul, American singer Justin Quiles and British DJ and producer Jonas Blue. Penomeco, 33, is the only K-pop act on the list.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">\u201cThis album brings together a team of global stars, and for me it is a dream come true, because music has always been part of my life,\u201d Ronaldinho said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">Penomeco dropped the single My Chick in 2025 and participated in writing songs for South Korean boy band BoyNextDoor\u2019s first studio album, Home, released in June.
