“Robert’s injuries pour more suspicion on Serena,” explains our Emmerdale source. “The last long-lost Sugden who turned up had a habit of leaving people for dead then saving their life.

“Aaron’s terrified of history repeating itself, especially as Serena’s so obsessed with John.”

After asking one too many questions and making Aaron uncomfortable in his own home, shady Serena hides her laptop research from Robert and Vanessa Woodfield.

When Vanessa mentions to Moira Dingle that the newcomer spoke to her about Nate’s murder, Moira begins to worry that Serena will eventually learn the full truth about John’s demise.

At Wishing Well, Moira warns Robert to be cautious around nosy Serena. Despite Robert’s fondness for his distant cousin, Moira’s paranoid that there’s more to her questioning than simply curiosity and urges Robert to keep Victoria’s role in John’s death a secret. But when Kev Townsend later reveals that he’s worked out where he knows Serena from, everything changes…

“Serena’s secret changes the whole dynamic at Emmerdale Farm,” teases our mole. “We can’t reveal what she’s hiding, but what happens next could tear the family apart.

“Aaron’s determined not to let someone with an ulterior motive infiltrate their lives, but will Robert listen to his fiancé’s fears?”

As the tension simmers on the farm, Robert gets knocked out by a runaway farm trailer while out for a walk. Serena’s there in his hour of need and takes him inside to check over his injuries. However, when Aaron learns she just happened to be there at the right place on the right time, alarm bells start ringing!

“After missing the signs with John, Aaron’s on high alert,” continues our informant. “No matter what Robert’s able to overlook with his cousin, Aaron doesn’t trust Serena. She might be family, but he intends to keep a close eye on her…”

With Chas’ help, Aaron keeps a watchful eye on Serena. But when they discover what she’s been doing behind their backs, it leaves them speechless.

What is Serena hiding from Aaron and Robert? And how will they react to this shock turn of events?
