In July <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tatler.com\/topic\/2025\" isautogenerated=\"true\" class=\"text link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">2025<\/a>, Natasha Archer announced that she was leaving her job at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tatler.com\/topic\/kensington-palace\" isautogenerated=\"true\" class=\"text link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kensington Palace<\/a>, during which time she was credited with overhauling the future queen\u2019s wardrobe, and stepping into a new role as a private consultant.<\/p>\n<p>Known to her nearest and dearest as \u2018Tash\u2019, Archer joined the Palace in 2010, working as a personal assistant for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tatler.com\/topic\/prince-william\" class=\"text link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Prince William<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tatler.com\/topic\/prince-harry\" class=\"text link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Prince Harry<\/a>. It was after William married <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tatler.com\/topic\/kate-middleton\" class=\"text link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kate Middleton<\/a> in 2011 that Archer began working alongside the then-Duchess of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tatler.com\/topic\/cambridge\" class=\"text link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cambridge<\/a>, and by 2013, she had become one of Catherine\u2019s closest aides. So strong was their bond that she was one of the select few permitted to join Catherine behind the scenes at the Lindo Wing after she gave birth to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tatler.com\/topic\/prince-george\" class=\"text link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Prince George<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The following year, her keen eye for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tatler.com\/topic\/fashion\" class=\"text link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">fashion<\/a> meant that Archer was promoted to the position of Catherine\u2019s personal stylist in order to fulfil the late <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tatler.com\/topic\/queen-elizabeth-ii\" isautogenerated=\"true\" class=\"text link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Queen Elizabeth II<\/a>\u2019s wish that her granddaughter-in-law dress in a more \u2018regal\u2019 manner, according to reports.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Image may contain Person Face Head Photography Portrait Adult Wedding and People\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"ResponsiveImageContainer-dkeESL cQPiWi responsive-image__image\"   src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/2220055905.jpeg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Archer stepped away from her job at Kensington Palace in July 2025, pursuing a career in private consultancy<\/p>\n<p>Dave Benett\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Her influence made itself known as Kate began to debut her new look during the 2014 tour of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tatler.com\/topic\/australia\" class=\"text link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Australia<\/a> and New Zealand. \u2018Natasha and Kate get on very well,\u2019 a source told the outlet at the time. \u2018She has always supported and advised Kate \u2013 and the Duchess loves Natasha\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tatler.com\/topic\/style\" class=\"text link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">style<\/a>, so it seemed like an obvious appointment.
