The official website for the live-action film<\/a> of Mika Yamamori<\/a>‘s In the Clear Moonlit Dusk<\/a> (Uruwashi no Yoi no Tsuki<\/a>) manga presented a new trailer on Thursday. The trailer announces and previews the theme song “Moonlit” by Naniwa Danshi<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Yoi Takiguchi has long legs, a deep voice, and a handsome face…in other words, Yoi is such a good-looking guy that most people don’t notice or care that she is, in fact, a girl. Indeed, she’s had the nickname “Prince” as long as she can remember. That is, until she met Ichimura-senpai…the only person who’s really seemed to see her for herself. To her surprise, she’s not sure how to handle this new relationship, especially when her newfound friend is a prince himself (and a guy prince, at that). The story of the two high school princes starts here!<\/p>\n

Shunsuke Michieda<\/a> (live-action My Love Mix-Up!<\/a>\u00a0TV series, live-action\u00a0The Kindaichi Case Files<\/a> series) stars as Kohaku Ichimura (right in photo right), and Seira Anzai<\/a> (live-action Insomniacs After School<\/a> film, live-action Trillion Game<\/a> TV series) stars as Yoi Takiguchi (left).<\/p>\n

Other cast members include Rintar\u014d Mizusawa<\/a> as Takuto Ohji, Yuna Hoshino<\/a> as Nobara Tone, Sayu Suzukawa<\/a> as Kotobuki Hibiya, Takato \u014ckura<\/a> as Sentar\u014d Akane, Tatsumi Asa<\/a> as Shun Kuwabatake, Y\u016bki Yoda<\/a> as Yoshiko, and Naohito Fujiki<\/a> as Seiichi Takiguchi, Yoi’s father.<\/p>\n

Kentar\u014d Takemura<\/a> (live-action Trillion Game TV series) is directing the film, \u00a0and Yuichi Tokunaga<\/a> (live-action Densha Otoko<\/a> TV series) wrote the script. Sh\u016b Kanematsu<\/a> (My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!<\/a>, Aquarion: Myth of Emotions<\/a>) is composing the music. TBS<\/a> TV is overseeing production at TBS Sparkle<\/a>, and TOHO<\/a> is distributing.<\/p>\n

The film will open<\/a> in Japan on October 23.<\/p>\n

Yamamori launched the manga in Dessert<\/a> magazine in 2020. Kodansha<\/a> published the manga’s 10th compiled book volume on January 13.<\/p>\n

The manga ranked<\/a> #11 on the list of manga for female readers in the 2023 edition of Takarajimasha<\/a>‘s Kono Manga ga Sugoi! (This Manga Is Amazing!) guidebook.<\/p>\n

The manga’s anime adaptation premiered<\/a> on January 11. Crunchyroll<\/a> streamed<\/a> the anime as it aired in Japan.<\/p>\n
