\u201cWe wanted to create something that parents could genuinely enjoy alongside their kids. It\u2019s affordable, it\u2019s indoors, and it\u2019s a great excuse to spend time together during the school holidays.\u201d<\/p>\n
With entry from just $5, the pop-up rink has been designed to be accessible for families, while also encouraging visitors to make a day of it by exploring Napier\u2019s cafes, eateries and retailers before or after their skate session.<\/p>\n
Bay Skate manager Kyle Hamilton said the partnership was a natural fit, bringing skating into the heart of the city while creating a fun, weather-proof experience for the community.<\/p>\n

Hamilton said skating was something everyone could enjoy, regardless of age or experience, and it was all about having fun together as a community. <\/p>\n
\u201cThe added bonus is that it\u2019s one of the few events where we don\u2019t have to spend the week watching the weather forecast and hoping for the best.\u201d<\/p>\n
