\u201cAt first I wasn\u2019t actually sure how much I\u2019d won, because I read online there were four winners,\u201d the man, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told Lotto.<\/p>\n

\u201cI read an article where Lotto said it was likely there was one winner with four lines on one ticket \u2013 and that\u2019s when it clicked that it was probably me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Unsure of the result, the man went into his local Lotto store the following day to check his ticket.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe man behind the counter just looked at my ticket and said, \u2018you\u2019ve got the whole lot!\u2019,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was exciting to have it confirmed, but I tried to play it smooth.\u201d<\/p>\n

The man said he shared the news with his partner at home, who \u201cinitially didn\u2019t read all the zeros and thought it was $1000\u2033.<\/p>\n

Now that the $1m prize had arrived in his bank account, the man plans to use the earnings to support his family.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m going to help my kids out first,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then I\u2019ll keep what\u2019s left over.\u201d<\/p>\n

Powerball rolled over last Wednesday after failing to be struck<\/a>, with the jackpot rising to $20m.<\/p>\n

Powerball players missed out once more at the subsequent Saturday draw<\/a>, and again at this Wednesday\u2019s draw, meaning it will climb to $25m when drawn again<\/a> tomorrow night.<\/p>\n
