Welsh star Zeta-Jones has remembered her compatriot Tyler as an \u201cextraordinary woman with vocals to match\u201d, and insisted the Total Eclipse of the Heart hitmaker \u201ccould have been a comedian\u201d because she was so funny.<\/p>\n

Footloose star Kevin Bacon also paid tribute to Tyler, who recorded her 1984 single, Holding Out for a Hero, for the movie\u2019s soundtrack.<\/p>\n
He told Entertainment Weekly: \u201cOne of the great voices of rock.<\/p>\n

Jackass star Johnny Knoxville wrote on his Instagram Story: \u201cBonnie Tyler, thanks for letting ur music be a part of Jackass. RIP (sic)\u201d<\/p>\n
Tyler died on Wednesday, weeks after she was placed into an induced coma following emergency intestinal surgery in Portugal.<\/p>\n
A message posted on her website read: \u201cBonnie\u2019s family and team are heartbroken to announce that Bonnie unexpectedly passed away last night in hospital in Portugal as a result of the illness that she was being treated for.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will issue a further statement shortly but for now ask for privacy to deal with this tragedy.\u201d<\/p>\n
Tyler was placed into an induced coma in May, but, a few weeks ago, it was revealed she had woken up, although she remained \u201cseriously ill\u201d.<\/p>\n
Her representative said: \u201cBonnie is no longer in a coma, but remains seriously ill.<\/p>\n
\u201cAlthough her condition is improving, the recovery process is slow.\u201d<\/p>\n
