\n Hannah Phillips has worked at CrossFit Spitfire in Salhouse Road, Sprowston, for the last decade, working her way up from fitness coach to head coach and now owner.\n<\/p>\n

\n The 32-year-old took on the site 18 months ago after the previous owner – who set up the business in 2016 – left.\n<\/p>\n
\n Ms Philips, who lives in Thorpe End, is on a mission to build its membership to a 150-strong group.\n<\/p>\n
\n She said: “When I took on the gym, we had to build it back up.\n<\/p>\n

\n “The sale went through quite slowly but I have been gradually growing our membership. We have around 126 members and six coaches.\n<\/p>\n
\n “I have always wanted to push our membership up to 150.”\n<\/p>\n
\n CrossFit is a branded fitness programme incorporating a range of high-intensity exercises and strength training into workouts.\n<\/p>\n
\n The gym is running birthday-themed workouts on Saturday, July 11 to celebrate its anniversary.\n<\/p>\n
\n “We still have members who were here when the gym first opened,” Ms Phillips said.\n<\/p>\n

\n “We usually have two workouts on Saturdays but this week they will be themed around the number 10,” she added.\n<\/p>\n
\n The gym, which offers a variety of classes for both adults and children, offers free trials during the week.\n<\/p>\n
\n Ms Phillips added: “The ages of our members range from five years old in our kids program to over 70 in the adults group.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Our workouts can be personalised to the individual. There are roughly eight to 10 people in each class.”\n<\/p>\n
