The reality TV star shared the unexpected diagnosis in a recent Instagram video message. Amabile, best known as \u201cGrocery Store Joe,\u201d further announced that he will soon undergo the necessary tests and surgery.<\/p>\n<p>Bachelor alum Joe Amabile says he will undergo a craniotomy to remove and test brain lesion<\/p>\n<p>Joe Amabile shared a health update in an <a data-ylk=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/Dav1dCGBUF-\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Instagram<\/a> video recently. He announced that the doctors had discovered a lesion in his brain, possibly indicating an early-stage tumor, after undergoing a full-body scan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, a little medical update. I didn\u2019t share my Prenuvo results because they ended up finding a lesion in my brain,\u201d Amabile revealed. \u201cSo then I had to go get a brain MRI, and there was a blueberry-sized lesion in my brain that looks to be a glioma, which is a tumor.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Amabile stated that he is scheduled to undergo a craniotomy in two weeks to determine the exact nature of the lesion and remove it. \u201cSo I now need to get brain surgery [in two weeks] to get it removed and get it tested, and then we\u2019re gonna go from there,\u201d he said. \u201cSo it\u2019s been a wild couple weeks. I definitely wasn\u2019t expecting this.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Bachelor in Paradise star then opened up about how he has been coping with the unexpected news. He admitted that the diagnosis has been difficult to process. \u201cI think it\u2019s one of those things where you\u2019re like, \u2018Oh, something like this never happened to me,\u2019 and here I am,\u201d Amabile said. \u201cThey say it\u2019s really early stages. I hope they are able to get it all, and I\u2019m fine.
