\u201cIt\u2019s going to be an epic musical, cinematic, emotional, spiritual and cultural journey.\u201d<\/p>\n
The singer has spent much of the past six years performing as a featured artist or a headline guest and said he wanted to create a unique show on his own.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis show is for everyone. For the fans who\u2019ve been there from the beginning and for those who have joined at any point along the way.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a reintroduction to the songs they grew up with, their favourites, alongside my favourites and my new music too.<\/p>\n
\u201cPeople think they\u2019ve heard Black Box, but they haven\u2019t heard Black Box with an orchestra. <\/p>\n
\u201cThey think they\u2019ve heard I Am, M\u0101ori Ki Te Ao or Take It Easy. But they haven\u2019t heard them in this way.<\/p>\n
\u201cEven I haven\u2019t, to be honest. And that is so exciting to me.\u201d<\/p>\n
The show comes about a month before the 17-year anniversary of him winning Australian Idol at 18 years old, something he said is where everything began for him.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn developing this show and reimagining all the songs, it\u2019s reminded me of how far I\u2019ve come and of how much I have to share.\u201d<\/p>\n
