Photo \/ NZTA<\/p>\n<p class=\"uXGlmRGscvPe\" style=\"display:none\">It\u2019s the second day of disruptions in a row for the airport, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nzherald.co.nz\/nz\/auckland\/flights-delayed-cancelled-due-to-fog-at-auckland-airport\/7Y7GKMFFUFDUHEWA6XEBCTHNLA\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.nzherald.co.nz\/nz\/auckland\/flights-delayed-cancelled-due-to-fog-at-auckland-airport\/7Y7GKMFFUFDUHEWA6XEBCTHNLA\/\">numerous delays and cancellations<\/a> to domestic regional flights due to fog on Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"uXGlmRGscvPe\" style=\"display:none\">Lyons said the current ridge of high pressure was conducive to fog, which was seen across much of the upper North Island this morning, along with low cloud &#8211; but that was counteracted by a southwest \u201ccloudy regime\u201d for Auckland.<\/p>\n<p class=\"uXGlmRGscvPe\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cIt\u2019s not ringing alarm bells that it\u2019s going to be a really foggy week for Auckland&#8230;but we keep an eye on that as things get closer to the time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fatal crash closes State Highway 2<\/p>\n<p class=\"uXGlmRGscvPe\" style=\"display:none\">SH2 has been closed from Mangat\u0101whiri to SH1 since around 11.30pm last night, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nzherald.co.nz\/nz\/mangatawhiri-crash-one-dead-state-highway-2-closed-after-two-vehicle-collision\/HSDXLQPTPZAH5MV7H3S56OLHE4\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.nzherald.co.nz\/nz\/mangatawhiri-crash-one-dead-state-highway-2-closed-after-two-vehicle-collision\/HSDXLQPTPZAH5MV7H3S56OLHE4\/\">following a fatal crash<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"uXGlmRGscvPe\" style=\"display:none\">One person died in the two-vehicle collision, police said.
