Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are happy to share many details of their married life, but they keep their daughters’ faces off social media.

The Frozen actress and the Armchair Expert podcast host welcomed their first daughter Lincoln in March 2013, and they tied the knot seven months later. Their second daughter Delta arrived the following year.

Although Bell and Shepard have given their fans glimpses into vacations, holidays and more special moments with their children, Delta and Lincoln aren’t visible to their fans. Still, the stars don’t shy away from talking about the best (and most challenging) parts of parenthood.

“It has set my priorities straight and allowed me to be a lot happier,” Bell told Today in 2016. “I don’t worry nearly as much because as long as I know my family is happy and healthy and together, nothing else matters.”

As the Emmy winner turns 46 on July 18, 2026, see her and Shepard’s rare photos of their family of four over the years.

Bell shared a rare carousel of family photos for Lincoln’s 13th birthday in 2026, penning a sweet tribute about the lessons her eldest daughter has taught her.

“Getting to know her wit, compassion, and sense of adventure has brought us a kind of joy we didn’t have a word for before we met her,” she began.

One of the family’s favorite holidays is Halloween — and they’re known to show off their elaborate (and hilarious) costumes. In 2025, Shepard was “Ferrariana Grande,” while Bell channeled Sarah Jessica Parker for “Carrie Bradshaw Shank.”

The Good Place star celebrated her husband’s 21 years of sobriety with a rare photo of Shepard embracing one of his daughters.

“This is what 21 years of sobriety looks like. Lots of hugging. Hugging everyone and everything,” wrote Bell. “Hugging life. Thank you for getting sober, @daxshepard. I am eternally grateful to have you. We all are.”

Bell matched tees with her daughters — who also twinned in pink hats with Dad — as the family transformed their backyard into an RC race track, a hobby that Shepard picked up during quarantine.

“You are the most patient, affectionate, enthusiastic, and funniest dad we could imagine,” the actress praised in the caption.
