Chisholm, 52, told Vogue she was never someone who dreamed about weddings growing up.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was always just focused on my career \u2013 I think even relationships took a backseat for me because I\u2019ve been so driven to do what I love, which is performing.\u201d <\/p>\n

The singer also shared several images of her dress created by former bandmate Victoria Beckham. While Beckham was the only Spice Girls member absent from the wedding, Mel B, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton were all in attendance.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve had this awakening in my 50s \u2013 I\u2019m very comfortable in my skin,\u201d Chisholm said, Vogue reported.<\/p>\n

When her now-husband proposed, \u201cI knew immediately it was the right thing to do. When you\u2019re my age you\u2019re like \u2026 I actually want to experience all the things,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The former Spice Girl\u2019s collection of 1990s-era tattoos was on full display as she stepped into her gown before making her way down the aisle in her dress.<\/p>\n

Although Beckham couldn\u2019t be at the wedding, she said she was glad to contribute.<\/p>\n

\u201cI obviously offered to make her dream dress,\u201d she told Vogue.<\/p>\n

\u201cMelanie is quite minimalist and didn\u2019t want anything too fussy, conceptual, or overly complicated \u2013 this is all very aligned with what I do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chisholm said she met Dingwall on a dating app used by celebrities called Raya.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was 49 when I met Chris and I was in a really good place. We had a date in Australia, and it\u2019s been difficult to separate us ever since.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chisholm said she loved the new phase of her life.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s been such a beautiful addition to mine and my daughter\u2019s life. Because, you know, I\u2019m a single mom,\u201d she told Vogue.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy daughter is 17, and we\u2019re pretty resilient the two of us, we\u2019re a team. For anybody coming into our world \u2026 it was going to be tough, and he just fits perfectly.
