A man has been arrested after a recording device was found in the staff bathroom of a Mount Maunganui early childhood centre. <\/p>\n
Police said the device was first discovered on Tuesday, June 30. <\/p>\n
No children were identified in any of the recordings. <\/p>\n
Following an investigation, a 53-year-old man was arrested and charged with making an intimate visual recording.<\/p>\n
He was due to reappear in the Tauranga District Court on August 3. <\/p>\n
“As the matter is before the court, police will not be commenting further.”<\/p>\n
