Bear\u2019s mother, singer Cheryl Tweedy, and lawyer Richard Bray were named as administrators last year, meaning they were able to collect and preserve Payne\u2019s assets.<\/p>\n
Newly released probate documents from Britain\u2019s High Court reveal parts of the estate can now be spent to help Bear, and the rest will be placed in a trust until he turns 18, The Sun reported.<\/p>\n
Payne\u2019s assets are valued at \u00a321.9m ($48m), which includes a five-bedroom home he had bought in 2021 to be closer to his son after his split from Tweedy.<\/p>\n
Anyone wishing to make a claim against the estate has six months to do so under probate rules.<\/p>\n
Bear was born in March 2017, a few months before his parents separated in July 2018.<\/p>\n
Payne had been living with Cassidy before his death but she is not entitled to any money.<\/p>\n
The Sun reports that sources close to Cassidy said she did not intend to make a claim against his estate.<\/p>\n
Cassidy had previously defended her relationship with Payne and denied she was after any of his money.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen people come and point a finger at me saying, \u2018You took an allowance and you had living expenses\u2019, or whatever, at the end of the day it\u2019s nobody\u2019s business except for me and Liam,\u201d she told The Sun last year.<\/p>\n
