The competing filings come after Chase died intestate, leaving no will to determine who should oversee her estate. <\/p>\n

She was living on the streets in Los Angeles at the time of her death.<\/p>\n

According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner\u2019s report, Chase\u2019s primary cause of death was acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, or Aids, Page Six reported.<\/p>\n

The report also cited chronic polysubstance use, described as the use of more than one drug, as another significant condition. Her death was ruled natural.<\/p>\n

Despite court filings stating Chase had hundreds of thousands of dollars in personal property, a GoFundMe campaign was launched before her death by Roy Hernandez, who identified himself as her boyfriend.<\/p>\n

However, long-time manager John Ryan disputed the fundraiser in comments to the California Post.<\/p>\n

\u201cApparently, a man claiming to be her \u2018boyfriend\u2019 that none of us friends or her family has heard of has set up a GoFundMe on \u2018her and her family\u2019s behalf\u2019 [and] he set her up as the organiser.\u201d <\/p>\n

Ryan said there was already a trust account set up to cover costs. <\/p>\n

Ryan confirmed her death to the media after she died at a Los Angeles hospital last month.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was the greatest. She loved cats. She worked with cat rescues with us. She was very to herself,\u201d Ryan told the BBC at the time.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was not very Hollywood. She\u2019d rather eat at Bob\u2019s Big Boy and go home with the cats. She loved acting but wasn\u2019t into the fame scene.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chase started acting at 4 years old, getting her first role when she was 7, but she retired from working in the profession full time in 2015, Ryan said.<\/p>\n

Chase gained widespread recognition voicing Lilo in the 2002 animated hit Lilo & Stitch, a role she later reprised in the franchise\u2019s television spin-offs.
