Police have revealed more details of the timeline leading up to the deaths, telling the ABC that Wright visited the Mt Gambier police station on Sunday. They did not say why.<\/p>\n

The next day, police conducted a welfare check at her home at 9.28am at the request of a friend, but no one was home.<\/p>\n

At 11.13am, a member of the public called about Wright\u2019s abandoned Isuzu MUX, which was found with its engine running in a carpark at Cape Northumberland, near Port MacDonnell.<\/p>\n

Later that day, police found the bodies of Wright and her daughter in the sea, but could not find the baby boy.<\/p>\n

Police said the deaths, which they described as \u201cheartbreaking\u201d, were being investigated as a double murder-suicide as there was no evidence that other parties were involved.<\/p>\n

Neighbours told the Adelaide-based Advertiser that the family largely kept to themselves but were friendly and known for lending a hand when needed. <\/p>\n

They described Wright as \u201cbubbly\u201d, saying she enjoyed gardening and often shared light-hearted exchanges with other residents.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re very religious \u2026 they go to the church every Sunday,\u201d one said.<\/p>\n

Wright was described as a stay-at-home mother who enjoyed sewing clothes for children. <\/p>\n

People close to her had been aware that she was experiencing mental health challenges, although neighbours said she came across as a \u201cgreat mother\u201d, the Advertiser reported.<\/p>\n

Police Commissioner Grant Stevens said it was a \u201ctragic set of circumstances\u201d that would have a huge impact on the remaining family. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis is an extremely challenging time for the family of the deceased people that we have found.\u201d <\/p>\n

Police had spoken to Wright\u2019s husband.<\/p>\n

Wright, originally from Estonia, lived in Compton, near Mt Gambier, with her husband and their two children, according to the ABC.<\/p>\n

South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas said the news of their deaths was a blow that \u201cshocked you to the core\u201d, Nine News reported.<\/p>\n

\u201cWherever we see the loss of anybody, it\u2019s a tragedy. Where it involves children, that breaks your heart.\u201d<\/p>\n
