{"id":554746,"date":"2026-08-01T13:48:13","date_gmt":"2026-08-01T13:48:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/554746\/"},"modified":"2026-08-01T13:48:13","modified_gmt":"2026-08-01T13:48:13","slug":"another-quake-rattles-te-anau","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/554746\/","title":{"rendered":"Another quake rattles Te Anau"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A magnitude 5.2 earthquake has been recorded in the\u00a0lower South Island.<\/p>\n<p>The quake occurred 35km north-west of Te Anau in Southland on Saturday, at a depth of 102km.<\/p>\n<p>It was detected at 3.23pm\u00a0and felt as far as the Bay of Plenty in the North Island.<\/p>\n<p>There were more than 1400 reports submitted to\u00a0GeoNet.
