He’s in a real purple patch of form and continues to excel at both ends of the field, making an impact with and without the ball.

3. Ali Leiataua – 7

A strong performance by the centre, highlighted by some strong carries that had the Titans in all sorts. There were a couple of occasions when he should have passed the ball but overall, that was his best game in weeks.

17. Leka Halasima – 8

A late switch to the centres in place of Adam Pompey proved to be a masterstroke by Webster. It has been a frustrating season for the 20-year-old but he will be delighted in claiming a well-deserved try – his first since round nine –and was a constant threat with the ball, causing plenty of problems for the Titans’ defence. His defensive reads still need some work, but he provided the spark the Warriors had been missing in the position.

5. Alofiana Khan-Pereira – 8

Back on the Gold Coast for the first time since departing the Titans, Khan-Pereira haunted his old club with one of his best performances of the season. He scored a superb try in the corner after some slick footwork, set up two more and looked dangerous every time he got the ball in open space.

6. Chanel Harris-Tavita – 6

A measured performance from the five-eighth as he controlled the game well and took plenty of right options. He kicked five from eight off the tee and even grabbed a try to add the icing on the cake.

7. Te Maire Martin – 9

After a few difficult weeks, Martin was back to his best and justified Webster’s faith in him. The Warriors are a much better attacking side when he takes the line on, and he kept the Titans’ defence on the back foot before being rewarded with two second-half tries.

<img alt="Te Maire Martin scored two tries in the win over the Titans. Photo / Photosport

8. James Fisher-Harris – 6

Played a season-low 42 minutes, but that was largely due to Webster opting to rest his co-captain due to the Warriors’ dominance.

9. Wayde Egan – 8

Was as strong as ever, running rings around the ruck and winning his side numerous set restarts.

10. Mitch Barnett – 6

Similar to Fisher-Harris, played less minutes than usual, due to how well the Warriors were playing, but still played a key role, and claimed a try assist for Eddie Ieremia-Toeava‘s four-pointer.

11. Kurt Capewell – 6

Did all the little things well and made some big stops defensively among his 20 tackles, although he was credited with six misses.

12. Jacob Laban –7

Another who was in a form slump but responded with a strong display. Claimed a deserved try and finished with a team-high seven tackle breaks and a team-high 38 tackles, although he did have seven misses.

13. Erin Clark – 8

The former Titan wanted to make a statement against his old side and he did just that with an impressive outing. The highlight was his cross-field kick which led to Halasima’s try, while he also had 138m and 25 tackles.

Interchange:

14. Sam Healey – 6

Came on midway through the second half and was his usual self, looking for opportunities to run at every moment.

15. Tanner Stowers-Smith – 9

Continues to shine in his role off the bench and is a real asset to the Warriors. Claimed 177m, put on 25 tackles and even made a huge intercept.

20. Eddie Ieremia-Toeava – 10

Produced his most impactful performance in a Warriors jersey with an outstanding 56-minute stint. It was easy to see why he’s earned the nickname “David Goggins”, bringing relentless energy on both sides of the ball. He ran for 191m, including 81m post-contact, from 18 carries, made 35 tackles and capped off his performance with a well-deserved try. This is just the third time a player has been awarded a 10 this season.

<img alt="Riley Price became Warriors player No 299 in the win over the Titans. Photo / Photosport

22. Riley Price – 6

A historic moment for the Warriors as he become the first son of a former Warrior (former captain Steve Price) to play at NRL level for the club. Was a very late inclusion, only arriving at Gold Coast the night before, but didn’t look out of place in his limited minutes on the field.

Interchange players not used: Adam Pompey, Luke Metcalf

Ben Francis is an Auckland-based reporter for the New Zealand Herald who covers breaking sports news.

Produced a crucial intercept on his own tryline in the opening minutes before scoring his 18th try of…

[9
272732,806,2562,11586,84533,92822,6643,4241,12811,272731,111,139,69,1523,29392,6777,9617,7676,10465,22257,213,165,65632,122,3006,80
post-555352","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-sports","tag-272732","tag-as","tag-claims","tag-coast","tag-eddie","tag-emerges","tag-francis","tag-gold","tag-hero","tag-ieremiatoeava","tag-new-zealand","tag-newzealand","tag-nz","tag-over","tag-perfect","tag-performance","tag-player","tag-rates","tag-ratings","tag-score","tag-sports","tag-their","tag-titans","tag-unlikely","tag-warriors","tag-zealand
["GET
