Campbell Cres to Puriri Dr is also closed.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere will be an increased police presence in the area while enquiries are ongoing.\u201d<\/p>\n
Police will be releasing further information shortly.<\/p>\n
Those on buses heading into the city and caught up in today\u2019s incident were told by drivers they would be diverting off route while they navigated around the cordons.<\/p>\n
Four police cars, three ambulances and a fire engine could be seen stationed on the road near Cornwall Park.<\/p>\n
A person on a bus travelling down Manukau Rd said they were diverted around the scene. <\/p>\n
Police have blocked near the intersection of Greenlane Rd.<\/p>\n
Fire and Emergency confirmed it sent one truck to the scene to assist police and has since left.<\/p>\n
They referred all other matters to police.<\/p>\n
Auckland Transport (AT) is telling passengers that, due to an \u201cemergency services incident\u201d on Manukau Rd, a dozen bus routes would be detouring from their usual route to avoid the cordon.<\/p>\n
