The multimillion-dollar coastal homes of Kerry Bradburn, the former owner of under-fire online florist Wild Poppies, failed to sell at mortgagee auction today.<\/p>\n
The properties, a three-bedroom home on Tiri Road, in Auckland’s Manly, and a half-finished build at 19A Duncansby Road, in Stanmore Bay, attracted zero bids.<\/p>\n
Bradburn\u2019s financial issues came to light earlier this year when Wild Poppies collapsed owing creditors more than $1.3 million.<\/p>\n
Bradburn herself came under fire after selling the company to her son the day before the liquidators stepped in. However, she told OneRoof last month that the collapse of Wild Poppies had \u201cnothing to do\u201d with the mortgagee sale of Tiri Road.<\/p>\n

At Ray White’s auction, two parties showed interest in the \u201ccoastal project\u201d on Duncansby Road, but despite much cajoling from auctioneer John Bowring, no one put their hand up.<\/p>\n
Bowring said the half-finished property had \u201cso much potential, so much upside\u201d, and suggested buyers get things started with an opening bid of $900,000.<\/p>\n
\u201cGet your nose in front here. I would certainly like to negotiate with someone if I can.\u201d<\/p>\n
No one took Bowring up on his offer and the property passed in.<\/p>\n
