I know, it\u2019s mental.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"GVVHMTqjHdqyH\" style=\"display:none\">O\u2019Donnell has always been particularly independent, and she\u2019s now relishing the next chapter in her life.<\/p>\n<p class=\"GVVHMTqjHdqyH\" style=\"display:none\">The TV star said: \u201cI\u2019ve always been hyper independent. And if I wanted to do something, I\u2019d done my research and then just did it \u2013 you know what I mean?<\/p>\n<p class=\"GVVHMTqjHdqyH\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cAnd there\u2019s a lot of good and bad with that. You sort of learn by mistakes \u2013 and as you keep going and stuff, and I\u2019ve had plenty. But this time, thankfully, it\u2019s worked out really well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"GVVHMTqjHdqyH\" style=\"display:none\">The actor also opened up about her decision to cut ties with her family, revealing how therapy influenced her decision.<\/p>\n<p class=\"GVVHMTqjHdqyH\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cThat\u2019s part of the therapy. I had to go no contact with my entire family,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"GVVHMTqjHdqyH\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cBut, it\u2019s just one of those things, you know.
