Meghan added that young girls should learn to \u201cfollow their gut\u201d and said her role model when she was younger was her maths teacher, Miss Linda.<\/p>\n
When asked how the girl scouts inspired her, she replied: \u201cThese girls are so multi-dimensional and honest. Also just behind the scenes and getting to know them through this process, how they\u2019ve all become close with each other and support each other. I think we\u2019re our own little troop!\u201d<\/p>\n
Meghan and Harry have produced the new documentary film about Girl Scouts selling cookies through their Archewell production company, alongside Beautiful Stories and AJNA Films.<\/p>\n
The documentary, which had its premiere at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival, follows \u201cfour tenacious girls [who] strive to be a top-selling \u2018Cookie Queen\u2019\u201d.<\/p>\n
Speaking about the documentary at Sundance, Meghan said: \u201cThis film is probably the cutest at the festival. But I\u2019m also going to go out on a limb and say it is one of the most powerful and meaningful depictions of something that is an American tradition and rooted in nostalgia.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is now put through this lens from the incredible creative vision of Alysa to show something modernised about the girlhood experience and all the layers of complexity that come with that.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo yes, it\u2019s cute, and yes, these young ladies are fantastic and adorable, but they are also layered beautiful girls who are about to become very strong leaders and young women. So thank you for supporting that.\u201d<\/p>\n
