The earthquake details are preliminary.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\n         GeoNet listed the shaking as light, with more than 1700 people reporting they had felt the quake within<br \/>\n         minutes.\n        <\/p>\n<p class=\"BXSdIJQrZoWgYbVqzX\" style=\"display:none\">People across the Bay of Plenty reported a sharp jolt, with windows rattling and household items moving.<\/p>\n<p class=\"BXSdIJQrZoWgYbVqzX\" style=\"display:none\">In Edgecumbe, one person described a \u201cstrong shake\u201d and said their entertainment unit moved.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"An earthquake has rattled the Bay of Plenty this evening.
