\u201cWhat I\u2019m completely and utterly obsessed with is creating images and making funny things. If I\u2019m creating images and funny things, I\u2019m not thinking about me, because my brain is incredibly creative, and it can be creative about everything in the world that you panic or are scared about.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor example, this is how crazy I am: recently, I was sitting on a plane, and I thought, \u2018What if I can have telekinesis and my intrusive thoughts tell the plane to crash itself?\u2019<\/p>\n
\u201cSo that\u2019s the kind of level of insanity that I\u2019m dealing with. It\u2019s best to train my brain to do something better than worrying about having supernatural powers and crashing a plane.\u201d<\/p>\n
In October, Williams said his intrusive thoughts were a form of \u201cinside Tourette\u2019s\u201d, an inherited neurological condition that affects people through involuntary tics.<\/p>\n
He told comedian Paul Whitehouse and researcher Dr Mine Conkbayir for an upcoming episode of their podcast I\u2019m ADHD! No You\u2019re Not, \u201cI\u2019ve just realised that I have Tourette\u2019s, but they don\u2019t come out.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey are intrusive thoughts that happen. I was just walking down the road the other day, and I realised that these intrusive thoughts are inside Tourette\u2019s. It just doesn\u2019t come out.<\/p>\n
\u201cNot only that, you would think that a stadium full of people professing their love to you would work as [a distraction], but whatever it is inside me cannot hear it.
